"Will there be a second shooter, a stationary camera or any other backup cameras on hand..."
Will there be a second shooter, a stationary camera or any other backup cameras on hand for our wedding?
The Knot lists this question as #10 on “10 Questions to Ask Your Videographer Before You Book” So Let’s Answer it!
1. Second Shooter
Typically if you book a package you will know whether or not there will be a second videographer because it will cost more. Still it doesn’t hurt to ask. Especially if you need to pay for a second vendor meal.
2. Stationary Cameras
Never go with a videography company that doesn’t have stationary cameras already included in the package. They are very useful for getting secondary shots and as a backup camera if needed.
3. Back Up Cameras
A back up camera can be anything from a stationary camera, primary camera or...yes...an iphone. This is where experience counts. I’m not saying that iphones should be used in Wedding Videography but the newer ones are 4k and in the end it’s better than nothing. This is where hiring an experienced wedding videographer counts. Equipment failures can happen and when they do even an iphone can save the day!
