"Have you ever worked with my photographer? Do you know him or her?"
Have you ever worked with my photographer? Do you know him or her?
Top 3 Reasons Why it Doesn’t Matter.
1. We work around the Photographer.
2. We work around the Photographer.
3. We work around the Photographer.
The photographer whether they like it, or not, sets the shots for the day. The videographer in most cases works around them. This makes the day easier for the bride and groom through less staging and also allows the photographer's time to be maximized.
When does this go wrong?
If the photographer sucks.
If the photographer isn’t very good (which I have personally seen happen) then we would need to step in and maybe set up a few more shots.
This doesn’t happen very often.
Oh and the videographer definitely doesn’t have to do a meeting with the photographer before the event. A polite exchange on the day of is fine.
So is this a question to ask your videographer? No. If they are really interested they can ask you. :)
